Directing “Brennan On The Run” webisodes for Neighbours

One of the most exciting aspects of my role as Digital Content Producer at Neighbours is to look for opportunities to extend key stories online. With popular character ‘Mark Brennan’ making a dramatic return to the series in February – it seemed like a good chance to explore his witness protection backstory.

 

“Neighbours: Brennan On The Run” is a series of promo webisodes for YouTube, that have an interactive spin – a first for the show. At the end of each webisode, viewers can choose either option A or B, taking them to the next video in a ‘choose your own adventure’ style.

 

After developing the story, I produced, directed and edited the webisodes. Shot on a Red Scarlet by DOP Tom Savige. Zeiss CP2 lenses. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Graded with M31 Vision Color LUT. Audio mixed in Audition.
