Thinking Straight recently screened in the Side by Side film festival, which took place in Saint Petersberg, Russia.

17-year-old RILEY COLE is forced to follow his father and relocate to Mars’ THIRD BASE. Living in a research station with thirty scientists, engineers and their families – this isn’t exactly the life Riley imagined. He’s determined to cause trouble and get them sent home.

Shot on the Sony F3 with a handful of Zeiss prime lenses.

Here’s a project that I worked on a couple of years ago – ‘Hollyoaks: Desperately Seeking India’. It’s still available to view on the E4 website (see above).

We were introducing a new student character to the show in 2009, ‘India Longford’. For the first time, the casting process was opened up to allow aspiring actors to submit online auditions, and the top 25 invited to the set to read in person.

I took a day out of storylines to direct/shoot interviews and links with Ricky Whittle and the 25 potential “Indias”.

Great news – I’m pleased to reveal ‘Thinking Straight’ has been chosen to play as part of the official selection at Rushes Soho Shorts Festival 2011.
